This newly created contemporary room located at Veterans Park is available for residents to enjoy for all types of gatherings. A beautiful setting, located on the sandy beach at Peconic Bay, it boasts fabulous marine vistas and views of Southampton.
Our newly created room was designed by local resident and interior designer, Sandford Hanauer, who donated his services. The building is dedicated to our Mattituck heroes, Pvt. Russell M. Penny and Sgt. Peter P. Krupski. Mattituck High School art students painted the murals on the east and west walls that adorn the Community Room. We thank all the many residents who volunteered their services and contributions to establish this delightful meeting/party room for community enjoyment.
The spacious Community Room holds 80 people and opens onto a covered patio with a large outdoor area for additional seating. There is room for 150 guests on this site including parking. There is a prep kitchen with the newest of equipment. A portable dance floor is available on request along with tables and chairs for various events. Also included is onsite parking.
