Located on the east side of Mattituck Inlet, this park has a quiet sandy beach, dunes, and a tidal wetland natural area that are home to a variety of birds. Bailie Beach Lodge is located in the upland area. Local Boy Scout and Girl Scout Troops frequently use this park and beach area. Other Scout troops from outside the area may use this facility by permit only.
Nestled in the dunes along Long Island Sound, with space to accommodate 150 people, the Lodge is a scenic location to host family and group functions. In the main hall, there are tables and chairs provided, a large commercial kitchen, and restrooms. This prime waterfront location has panoramic views of the inlet and creek as well as Long Island Sound.
